Well i had my 2'nd lecture for IDAT205 on Thursday. The initial lecture was pretty helpful, talking about the role of a project manager and what aspects of a team make a successful team.
The practical is where this module got really interesting though!
We were told to form groups for our 1st term project. The brief is simple, to create a design company and present it through a live website.
The first thing i was meant to do is get into my group,

The next task was to decide whether we wanted to create a company that focuses on one area of design or the whole thing. We decided to go with a company that targets a specific area, we took into account our skills and chose to create a company that creates Flash XML files, but the key aspect is that these files are fully customisable and the user doesn't need to know flash to customise it.
Our final task was to come up with a company name, we struggled with this, however in the end we settled with SimpleAS, were now going to start developing this company and hopefully we can create something special.
