I've decided that as the projection will be about crime i wanted to make sure i project it in a crime hotspot. I think the obvious answer for this would be Union Street. As ive explained in my previous posts, this area has a high crime rate & just generally feels dangerous at night times.
My next thing is to decide where i will project inside Union Street. I had a couple options but i've decided to go with this area.
This picture shows the location i want to use. It is a plot of abandoned land where a building once stood. The building has been burnt to the ground and nothing has been built to replace it. The only thing that has changed is that a small green fence has been erected to stop the public getting onto the plot of land.
My idea is to project onto this fence, i feel this will create a contrast of projecting crime figures etc onto an actual result of crime.
